Private sessions are the right choice if:

  • you’re looking for fully-customized personal training to work on something specific

  • you want to take our Skills 1 course in a 1:1 format

  • your puppy has a hard time learning in a group setting around other dogs and people (anxious, fearful, or extra barky)

  • you’d like a personal assessment of which class would be best for you and to be caught up to speed on specific skills for testing into Skills 2 or Skills 3 class.

    For pups experiencing moderate-severe reactivity, resource guarding, or separation stress, these cases may require a specialist and we want to get you the best possible service.   • what you need

    • semi-tired, semi-hungry, pottied puppy - if your puppy usually eats a meal near our session time, reduce the amount you feed to ensure an appetite for training

    • 6-10 ft non-retractable leash

    • tether or second leash

    • harness and/or collar—no chain/prong/shock/vibrating collars

    • treat pouch

    • clicker—ask your trainer for one or bring your own

    • treats—3 types of HIGH-value, pea-sized yummies including 1 that’s slimy (turkey dogs, chicken…)

    • 3 HIGH VALUE, edible chew items or stuffed food puzzles

    • tug or squeaky toy

    pre-session emails

    You’ll receive an email the first time you book, and your trainer will provide you with all the specifics before your session.

    • Cash Refund Window: Cash refunds will only be provided when requested within 72 hours of purchase AND at least 48 hours prior to session start time.

    • Credit for rescheduling or canceling sessions more than 72 hours after purchase will only be provided until 48 hours before your session is scheduled to start; no credit will be provided for requests for rescheduling or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. 

    • All session credits must be used within 90 days of purchase; any remaining credits are forfeited after that 90 days. To make sure you will be able to use all credits, WP recommends scheduling well in advance. If you are unsure you will be able to use the session credits within 90 days, WP suggests you opt to “buy as you go” and purchase single sessions as you plan to attend. 

    • If you or your dog are sick within 48 hours of your session, please contact your trainer and the office to determine if accommodations can be made.

  • in-home sessions are only available if you live within 5 miles of our NW Studio location

  • outdoor locations are held within 5 miles of WP. If choosing an outdoor session, your trainer will decide with you where to meet once you book your session.
