Our goal is relaxed and happy people and relaxed and happy dogs.

Every day is worth so much in puppy time - get started on the right paw now! If you are planning to take classes with us, it’s ideal to take this before class starts, but is still very valuable after!

In this class, we cover the key tools and knowhow to succeed in your training classes and beyond. You will learn how to:

  • help your puppy build self-confidence and self-control

  • meet your puppy’s basics needs for optimal health and learning

  • use the clicker to speed up the learning process for your puppy

…and much more!

You’ll learn our special wonder way formula for tackling common behavior issues such as:

play biting - house soiling - jumping - not listening - chewing - crate and separation comfort - digging - demand barking

If there are 2 parents in the household, we recommend both attend Orientation so everybody in the household is on the same page and set up for success!

Beyond Orientation - To maximize learning and raise a calm, confident, and happy dog, we highly recommend signing up for Social 1 and Skills 1 starting around 9 weeks or as early as possible and taking them at the same time. The critical period of brain development is fleeting - by 14 weeks of age 90% of your pup’s brain is done developing. By taking Social 1 and Skills 1 during this key time, you will maximize your puppy’s ability to learn and you will help prevent fear, anxiety, and aggression later in your pup’s life. Whether or not you work with us, we recommend setting aside 3 times per week to be in puppy school for two socialization classes and one basic skills class. After the critical period, you can typically plan to be in school once per week through adolescence!
