Taylor & FamilyTaylor is a WP Private School Trainer and a Head Instructor for the Foundational Dog Trainers Association.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a focus in Ethology from Pitzer College, certification in professional dog training from the Animal Behavior College, and certification in Pet First Aid/CPR. Her past work experience with dogs includes employment at LADogworks and multiple veterinary clinics including Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. Taylor is a native Portlander whose fascination with the animal world developed very early. By the age of five she was carrying banana slugs home from family hikes and creating slug farms. Growing up with dogs, she fell completely in love with her family’s Newfoundlands and she has been reading everything she can find on animal behavior and dogs ever since. During her time off, Taylor enjoys creating art and spending time with her two brown mutt-pups, Holden Douglas and Amedeo Jones, and caring for her three aquariums.
