Playgroups

Puppy Playgroups coach you and your puppy on dog-dog interactions to facilitate proper social development.  Each session is trainer-supervised, and includes structured playtime with puppies alternated with training time with you.  It's a great supplement to the Good Puppy & Great Puppy courses, and will teach you....
    - how to encourage safe and healthy dog-dog interactions 
    - how to identify good and poor play behavior
    - what types of playmates are (or are not) best for your pup
    - what to do when things go wrong  

To ensure everyones safety and positive experience: groups are kept to a maximum of 6-10 puppies, and puppies will only be allowed to play with other puppies of appropriate ages, sizes, and temperaments. 

Length

Each session is for up to 1 hour

Pup Requirements

-People-safe and dog-safe (no aggression)
-Healthy, free of parasites, and at least one set of puppy shots
(DHPP, and Rabies if 6 mo of age or older)
-Neutered or Spayed if 6 months of age or older
-Enrolled in, or successful completion of, a basic reward-based training course
*Pups who are not training with Wonder Puppy must pass a quick complimentary evaluation before attending. Evaluation can conducted on the same day of playgroup.
Shelter and rescue pups must have been in their new homes for at least 10 days and have their new veterinarian's permission with clean bill of health prior to attending playgroup.

Treat pouch (+ Clicker, if you have one)
Toy - plush or tug type, non-squeaking
