Great Puppy   $195 / 8 weeks
Great Puppy is great for puppies who can easily perform basic skills in low to medium distraction settings. It will expand upon your puppy’s learning foundation by adding distance and distraction to basic skills and fading out training tools for well-known skills. You will continue to work together as a team as you teach your puppy practical tasks such as "down" from a distance and "go to your bed" when someone comes to the door. At the end of the course, you will have the option of taking the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test.  By learning through success, you and your puppy will become prepared for the challenges of every day life…while having fun!

Playgroups
$14 / Session    $65 / Punch Card of 5    $125 / Punch Card of 10

Each session will show you how to:

  • bring out confidence in shy dogs
  • teach boundaries to over-exuberant dogs
  • read your dog's body language
  • safely socialize your pup to "worldly sights and sounds"
  • practice focus and basic skills in an off-leash environment
  • know what to do when things go wrong

Playgroup is for pups up to 8 months of age.  To help ensure a positive experience for all, the groups are kept small and are divided by size and temperament.

Size Divisions

Tiny Tykes – up to 12 lbs

Lil Tykes – 12-25 lbs

Big Tykes – 25-55 lbs

Temperament Divisions
In every playgroup there are “zen areas” so that mellow/shy pups can be separated from energetic-confident pups.

Pup Requirements

People-safe and dog-safe (no aggression)
To ensure that playgroup is safe and healthy for all involved, trainers will assess all pups' temperaments on an on-going basis.  Abnormal ranges of anxiety or reactivity may result in dimissal with referral.

Heathy and free of parasites

Vaccinations

Second set of puppy shots for DHPP, administered by a licensed veterinarian (bring records to your first session)

Neutered or Spayed

Required for pups ages 6 months +

Shelter and rescue quarantine time

Adopted pups can come to playgroup after 10 days in their new homes and with their new veterinarian's permission stating clean bill of health.

*Click here for more info on early socialization safety.

Schedule & Registration (Playgroups)
